Fishing

local fishing is excellent with barbel, roach and chubb. As well as being able to fish out side the holiday properties, you can also fish for half a mile up stream. There is easy access to the river bank. The coarse fishing in the Severn Trent area runs from mid june to mid march and any bait is allowed. Fishing for salmon, trout and eel is allowed all year round. During the close season, fishing is permitted on still waters at the following places. Moorlands Farm, Woodlands View, Pool Hall, Wellfields Pools, Furnace Mill and Snuff Hill. Lake fishing for trout is available all year round at most of the above venues.
