Ship Cottage is the largest River Steam Holidays property, offering four bedroom self catering accommodation in Highley near Bridgnorth. Sleeping up to eight guests, with space for additional children or adults in the adjoining top floor room, it is ideal for family gatherings, group holidays, fishing breaks and dog friendly stays in the Severn Valley.

The cottage has been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard, combining oak beams and a log burner with the practical space needed for a comfortable countryside holiday. The large kitchen is well stocked for group catering, with a family sized fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob.

Four bedroom accommodation with space for families and groups

Ship Cottage has two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. One double has an en suite bath and shower room, one twin has its own en suite wet room, and the remaining top floor rooms share a further wet room. A modern gas combi boiler provides central heating throughout and instant hot water.

The snug includes a TV and DVD player, and each bedroom has its own TV. Outside, the sunny patio has seating for everyone, while the covered porch is useful for logs, boots and outdoor gear after a day in the countryside.

Private parking, fishing storage and Severn Valley Railway views

Ship Cottage has its own long private drive and large car park, making arrival simple for larger groups. There is also a lockable shed for fishing tackle, bikes and outdoor equipment.

Set just below Highley Station and the Severn Valley Railway, the cottage enjoys memorable views of steam trains passing through the valley. The elevated decking gives you a choice of places to relax, watch the trains, enjoy the River Severn scenery and unwind after visiting The Ship Inn nearby.
